No one can make a charcuterie board quite like Sam the cat, but this one is a close second! Filled with sweet and savory treats, this will surely please all the familiars at the party.
Charcuterie for Familiars
What you need:
Meats:
Prosciutto
Sopressata
Capicola
Cheeses:
Scorpion cheese
Goat cheese
Gouda
Hot honey fried brie (separate recipe)
Fruits:
Pear
Pomegranate seeds
Boozy grapes (separate recipe)
Extras:
2 types of crackers
Crunchy breadsticks
Cashews
Macarons
Pepper Jelly
PB stuffed chocolate dipped dates (separate recipe)
Hot Honey Fried Brie:
1 wheel of brie
1/c C Mike's hot honey
Boozy Grapes
1 lb seedless red grapes
2 C Prosecco
1 C vodka
1/4 C granulated sugar
Peanut Butter Filled Chocolate Dipped Dates
8 oz pitted dates
1/2 C peanut butter
4 oz dark chocolate melting chips
What you do:
Meat flowers – overlay slices of meat around the rim of a flute glass. Turn glass upside down and lift.
Slice gouda in small triangles and arrange like a caterpillar.
Place everything else in bunches and fill in with crackers.
Hot Honey Fried Brie
Add honey to a pan over medium high heat.
Heat until honey starts to bubble.
Add BrieCook for 4-5 minutes, until it starts to ooze out. Spoon honey over cheese while cooking.
Place cheese on board and pour honey on top
Boozy Grapes
Wash and dry grapes. Put grapes, Prosecco, and vodka in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, up to 24 hours.
Pour grapes into a colander, getting out as much liquid as possible without drying.
Pour grapes into plastic bag. Add sugar to bag. Shake.
Peanut Butter Filled Chocolate Dipped Dates
Fill each date with nut butter. This will be messy. Place in fridge for 20-30 minutes
Melt chocolate in microwave. Cook for 30 seconds at a time, just until chocolate is melted. Do not go too far or chocolate will taste burnt.
Dip each date into the chocolate, coating completely. Let set before serving.
